Melting piles of slush and errant flurries may have us thinking we’re a long way from springtime, but there are Snowdrops blooming in the garden. This resurgence of life reminds us that spring will officially arrive in a month, followed by Easter, just a month later.
This present interval is our time to turn towards God — a time of repentance and of opening our hearts so God can do new things in our lives.
There will be a short, child-friendly service on Ash Wednesday, March 1st at 6:30 p.m., marking the beginning of Lent.
Then, each Thursday evening from March 9th to April 6th at 7:30 p.m., there will be a series of Lenten Prayer Services — an hour of prayer and contemplative Bible reading. Please join in these important opportunities for preparation.
